You can put on a lower difficulty, or just wait for your time. Leveled up and got some new weapons, then get the quest done. Was too low level, and didn't want just "put a lower difficulty" to do that, since I promised myself that I would finish the game on Normal. I know Danse is eventually recruitable but I have not progressed far enough in the story for that apparently. I haven't even tried Nick because of the whole synth thing ditto for Strong since I can't see them wanting a super mutant around. So far I have tried to do Brotherhood missions with Piper and Codsworth and they both don't seem to be particularly pleased with them. Does anyone else have this problem? Am I too low in level for this quest? If I put it off for a while and try to level up some will I fail it?Ī second question: Every companion who I have done Brotherhood quests with doesn't seem to like them.

Even if I can avoid the insta-death from the suiciders the high level mutants and legendaries cut me down in no time flat. I am level 20 and getting my tail kicked in this fight. The third one though, the satellite array has a huge number of super mutants, some are suiciders some are high level and some are legendary.

The first two sites you need to get to aren't that bad. I am trying to complete the quest "The Lost Patrol" given by Paladin Danse. This post and probably the entire thread will contain some minor spoilers but I would really like to try and avoid any big ones if possible.
